Christine is a professional book editor and owner of Write for Success Editing Services. From 2015 through 2016, she was also the managing co-editor of and writer for SCBWI's Kite Tales publication. She continues to write select interviews and the quarterly "Ask an Editor" column for Kite Tales, a blog published for the SCBWI Tri-Regions of Southern California. Christine is a regular contributor as a children's book reviewer for Good Reads with Ronna.

In October 2017, Christine was awarded an Honorable Mention in the 86th Annual Writer's Digest Writing Competition for her children's picture book. There were over 5,100 submissions to this contest.

She has sold verse, nonfiction, crafts, and activities to children's magazines including Highlights and High Five.

Her career as a freelance writer spans more than 25 years, with publications in both fiction and nonfiction. 

Since 2014, she has been the classroom library volunteer at various LAUSD elementary schools.


She also heads up the writing group, Writers Circle of Los Angeles, a private social enclave that focuses on the craft and tenacity necessary to make it in the business. Through educational and beta reader sessions, the writers in her group work together to help one another achieve their goals. The children's picture book writers segment of this group meets monthly for critique, encouragement, and coffee.

In March 2011, she founded the Hollywood chapter of the international non-profit organization, MOMS Club.
